2eva.ie publish an official Building Energy Rating (BER) Certificate via Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) after close consultation with our clients to determine the basic details of the construction involved and detailed answers to the 75 or so inputs which determine the actual BER.
To date 2eva.ie has published in excess of 600 BER Certificates!
Before 2eva.ie publish any rating, we go through the results of the calculation and tailor our advisory report to assist our clients to achieve the best BER possible in a cost effective manner.
A BER Certificate is an indication of the energy performance of a dwelling. It is designed to be visibly identifiable to a client so that they can quickly and clearly understand how energy efficient a dwelling will be.
There is a scale on the left hand side which ranges from G up to A1 and the higher up the scale a dwelling is calculated, the more energy efficient it will be. A1 being the most efficient level.
Over time, a client’s choice of house to buy or to rent will be influenced by how good or bad the energy rating is. For the first time, a potential buyer or renter will be able to make decisions on where to buy or rent and include energy consumption & CO₂ emissions as part of that process.
A BER Certificate is an official document that is published by SEAI.
